What is chiropractic?
The World Health Organization defines chiropractic as
“a health care profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on general health. There is an emphasis on manual techniques, including joint adjustment and/or manipulation with a particular focus on subluxations."

Babies and Children
Babies and children may also benefit from chiropractic
Coastal Chiropractic practitioners are passionate about providing safe and effective chiropractic care throughout childhood. Many parents bring their children for a chiropractic consultation to assess their child’s neuromusculoskeletal system. Optimal biomechanical movement and healthy nervous system function can support the achievement of developmental milestones. Examination and treatment of babies and children is tailored to the child’s age and stage of development.
